Gas interconnectors are commercial businesses, licensed and regulated by the independent regulator, Ofgem. My Rt Hon Friend the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has no contractual relationship with them. Any operational contracts are a commercial matter for the companies.
