To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they will introduce a bill guaranteeing the right of EU nationals who were legally resident in the UK at the time of the EU referendum to remain in the UK.
Securing the status of EU nationals in the UK, and UK citizens in the EU, is one of the Government’s twelve key objectives for exit and we are looking to reach agreement on this point as early as possible once formal negotiations begin.
