To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how many and what proportion of people employed by his Department are from other EU countries.
The Department has a responsibility to carry out national identity checks during both the application and pre-appointment stage of the recruitment process. There is no requirement to retain this information beyond the point at which it has served its purpose and as such this information is not held.
