To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, what written correspondence he has had with the Swansea City Region Board in the last 12 months; and if he will place copies of any such correspondence in the Library.

The UK Government is working constructively with local partners and the Welsh Government towards a city deal for the Swansea Bay City Region. I am determined that we work together to achieve a great deal for the region, which we will announce as soon as we are able. Given the advanced stage of the negotiations on a deal it would not be appropriate for me to release the contents of correspondence with strategic partners.
