To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many full-time equivalent civil servants of his Department and the Civil Aviation Authority are working on negotiating international aviation agreements.

The Department for Transport currently has 4 dedicated, full-time equivalent civil servants working on the negotiation of international air services agreements. Other resources across the Department, the Civil Aviation Authority and other Government Departments are involved as necessary, on an ad hoc basis.
