Department for International Development written question – answered on 6th March 2017.
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what action they will take to ensure that the UN Population Fund’s requirement for $2.996 million to provide sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence services in Greece, as set out on page 66 of the UNHCR Regional Refugee and Migration Response Plan for Europe January to December 2017, is met; and how much they will contribute towards meeting this requirement.
DFID is providing £4.7 million to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to deliver the 2017 Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan for Europe. This includes protection from sexual and gender based violence and supports access to sexual and reproductive health services in Greece but is not earmarked to a specific agency.
