To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what proportion of people referred to improving access to psychological therapies waited less than (a) six and (b) 18 weeks for their first appointment to receive treatment.
The final monthly access and waiting time data for Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) for November 2016 were published by NHS Digital on 21 February. Of those completing a course of IAPT treatment, 88.8% waited less than six weeks to receive treatment, and 98.5% waited less than 18 weeks to receive treatment.
