To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people were referred to the Channel programme in South Wales Police Force area in each of the last 12 months.

Channel is a voluntary and confidential programme. Due to the likelihood of small numbers being involved, and therefore the risk of personal identification, we do not provide breakdowns of Channel data by police force area.
Since 2012, over 1,000 people have received support through Channel. The vast majority of those who receive support go onto leave the programme with no further terrorism-related concerns.
