To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many and what proportion of post-16 education institutions entered at least one pupil for an A-level in government and politics in 2016.

In 2016, 2,847 institutions entered at least one pupil for at least one A-level. Of these, 1,272 institutions (45%) entered at least one pupil for an A-level in government and politics[1].
