To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what changes in funding from the public purse to Crimestoppers were made in each year from 2010-11.

Between 2010-11 and 2014-15, the Home Office provided Crimestoppers with grant funding of £900,000 per annum. As part of wider Government efficiency measures, Crimestoppers’ grant funding was reduced by 5% in 2015-16 and 2016-17, to £855,000 and £770,000 per annum respectively. Crimestoppers separately receives funding from a range of other public bodies, including Police and Crime Commissioners.
