To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many EU citizens applying for permanent residency in the UK have had their applications (a) accepted and (b) refused in each year since 2010.

Statistics on decisions on applications for Documents Certifying Permanent Residence issued to EEA nationals are published quarterly in table ee_02_q of Immigration Statistics. These include data for granted (hence accepted), and refused applications. The most recent edition (European Economic Area data tables Immigration Statistics July to September 2016) is available at:
