To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what response he has received from the Libyan government of National Accord to the request that it should compensate the UK victims of Gaddafi-sponsored IRA terrorism.

We have raised the issue of compensation with the Government of National Accord on many occasions, most recently during the visit of Prime Minister Serraj and a Libyan delegation to the UK on 31 October 2016. The Libyan Government is aware of the importance we attach to this matter.
