To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 27 October 2016 to Question 50014, if he will make an assessment of the effect on householders of his Department's policy not to allow residents to have water meters installed so that those residents are charged only for the water consumed.

There are currently no plans to assess the effect of not allowing the installation of water meters in householders.

Ministry of Defence policy ensures that individual household bills do not exceed the average Statutory Undertaker household bill for the region.
