To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when he expects to respond to his Department's consultation on the draft cycling and walking investment strategy, published in March 2016.

We hope to publish a Government Response to the consultation on the draft Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy, alongside the final Strategy, once the Government completes its analysis of responses to the consultation and all considerations have been taken into account.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
