A resilient tenant-farming sector is important for the future of food and farming. Farm Business Tenancies are flexible so they can meet a range of business needs from shorter to longer terms of tenure. The Government is committed to ongoing engagement with industry representatives to encourage sustainable models for land tenure including encouraging more long term tenancies for new entrants to the industry.
