To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will make representations to the Saudi Arabian government on future relationships with Iran following recent developments in relations between those countries.

We are deeply concerned about the escalation of tensions in the region. We have made representations at the highest levels and have urged all parties in the region to urgently show restraint and responsibility, and to resolve tensions.
