To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the criteria are by which NHS area teams assess Individual Funding Request (IFR) applications; whether there is a maximum threshold for the price of a medicine for which an IFR can be submitted; and whether different criteria are applied according to price.
NHS England has advised that individual funding requests are considered by its area teams in line with the Interim Standard Operating Procedures for the Management of Individual Funding Requests, which is available at:
