To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, pursuant to the Answer of 15 June 2015 to Question 1896, what representations he has received about creating a cultural protection fund; and what discussions he has had with the Chancellor of the Exchequer on such a fund.

Discussions about the creation of a new Cultural Protection Fund have taken place within Government and with key cultural organisations who agree that this measure is needed. These discussions will continue as work to develop the fund progresses.
