To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if he will estimate the number of claimants receiving benefits pertaining to a mental health condition who have been given an assessment of whether they are fit to work based only on their physical health.

The information requested is not available. The Work Capability Assessment assesses claimants for Employment and Support Allowance against a number of descriptors covering physical, mental, cognitive and intellectual functions.
