To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what arrangements are in place for the transfer of fees paid to the Lord Lyon to his Department.
The Court of the Lord Lyon is sponsored by the Scottish Government. Fees collected by the Court of the Lord Lyon are remitted to the Scottish Government on a monthly basis, with an annual income of around £70,000. This income is not transferred to the Treasury.
