To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Written Statement of 8 January 2015, HCWS176, when the results of the review of the Government's overseas scholarships schemes will be available; and if he will make it his policy that no changes to the governance of those schemes will be made without prior consultation of Parliament.

As set out in the Written Ministerial Statement of 8 January (HCWS176) the findings of the report are expected to be laid in the libraries of both Houses later this month, and published on line shortly after that.

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
