To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what representations he has received on the use of the National Cancer Drugs Fund clinical scoring tool to decide what treatments are available on the Cancer Drugs Fund; and if he will make a statement.

We have received a number of representations from hon. Members, members of the public, clinicians and the pharmaceutical industry about NHS England’s re-evaluation of cancer drugs on the national Cancer Drugs Fund list.

NHS England undertook a public consultation in 2014 on its standard operating procedures for the Cancer Drugs Fund – which included the prioritisation tool. The report of that consultation process is available at:
