Department for Education written question – answered on 9th December 2014.
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 3 December 2014 to Question 216369, how many new school projects are currently being considered as alternative options for the East Ham Police Station site.
As the location for the London Design and Engineering (LDE) University Technical College is now under review we are currently considering another three potential schools as alternative options for the East Ham Police Station site. In addition there may be further schools not yet actively being reviewed which might be appropriate for the site. A decision will be made in early 2015.
Given the sensitivity of the discussions I am not able to release the names of the projects at this stage.
