To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what reports he has received of Iranian military involvement in action against ISIL in Iraq; and if he will make a statement.

Iranian military forces have been involved in a range of activities against ISIL in Iraq, including direct kinetic action against ISIL targets and mentoring the Iraqi Security Forces. We are aware of reports that indicate Iranian aircraft have also conducted airstrikes against ISIL positions.
