To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many police forces have licences to use specialist software to monitor the internet usage of registered sex offenders.

Tough checks and a range of legislative measures are available to manage known sex offenders. Where there are specific concerns about the online activities of a registered sex offender, Sexual Offences Prevention Orders can impose
specific conditions and restrictions on their internet and computer use.
