To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what (a) number and (b) proportion of people claiming employment and support allowance are classified as BME.

The information requested on the number of Employment and Support Allowance recipients, by ethnicity is published at:

The figures can be then used to calculate the proportions of the total caseload required.
