To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, when the policy on keeping the documentation of failed citations for military honours was last changed; and what the reasons were for that change.
It has for many years been the Department's protocol that unsuccessful citations are not retained. It is not possible to ascertain whether, and if so when and under what circumstances, that protocol was last changed.
