Scotland Office written question – answered on 16th October 2014.
To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, what targets have been set for the release of his Department's material to the National Archives; what progress has been made in meeting those targets; and how many staff in his Department are engaged in reviewing records for that purpose.
The Scotland Office’s records date from its establishment in 1999. Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure that its records are assessed for long term preservation in accordance with the prevailing practice in other departments.
