The Government has mandated energy suppliers to have completed the rollout of smart meters to all domestic and smaller non-domestic premises by the end of 2020. As part of the Smart Meter Implementation Programme governance arrangements, an Operational Delivery Group is identifying and agreeing common approaches to installations as a means of ensuring a consistently good consumer experience across the rollout.
