To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what the estimated level of (a) public subsidy, (b) premium payments, (c) Network Grant and (d) revenue support will be during the term of the franchise directly awarded to West Coast Trains Ltd for rail passenger services on the West Coast Main Line.

The Direct Award to West Coast Trains Limited contains contracted premium payments of approximately £433 million. No revenue support or public subsidy is included in the franchise. Network Grant is not allocated on the basis of individual franchises so it is not possible to estimate this figure.
