To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what assessment he has made of the effect of changes to pensions on the level of net migration and the number of over-55s who may emigrate; and what analysis his Department has made of the effect of this policy on the likelihood of meeting the target of reducing net migration to under 100,000 by 2015.

The Government has not made any assessment of the effect of changes to pensions on migration levels.
