Women and Equalities written question – answered at on 20 March 2014.
To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities how many members of staff working for the Equality and Human Rights Commission who are employed through off-payroll arrangements were remunerated by payment to a personal services company; and what the total value of any such payments was in each of the last six financial years.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission is an independent body and is responsible for its own staff management, including pay arrangements. I have therefore asked the Chief Executive of the Commission to write to the hon. Member with the information requested within the next 10 days. I shall arrange for a copy of this letter to be placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
