The Home Office does not hold data on the number of stalking complaints received by police forces. The available data only cover those offences recorded by the police. Not all complaints will necessarily be recorded as offences.

Additionally, stalking is not currently an offence classification in its own right, as it is included under a broader harassment classification. It will become a separate offence classification from April 2014.
