To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the Written Answers by Earl Howe on 6 February (WA 76–7) and 4 March (WA 304), whether they are opposed to genetic modification of humans wherever this involves the germ-line modification of nuclear DNA, in the chromosomes, that can be passed on to future generations.

I have nothing further to add to the Written Answer I gave the noble Lord on 6 February 2014 (Official Report, columns WA76-77).
