To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what steps his Department has taken with the UK video gaming industry to supply the relevant information to the European Commission on tax breaks for the industry.
The Government remains committed to introducing video games tax relief as soon as possible. As part of its investigation, the Commission has asked for more evidence on the UK video games sector. The Government responded to this request as quickly and fully as possible, with support from the industry.
The investigation remains confidential and the Government is not able to provide any more detail at this stage.
