To ask the Secretary of State for Education pursuant to the answer of 24 February 2014, Official Report, column 217W, on free schools, how many of the free schools that have a rental or leasehold agreement for the site of their school are owned by a (a) local authority and (b) company.

We do not hold the information requested centrally for all open free school sites and collating it would incur disproportionate cost.
