The UK is not offering any British Army equipment or personnel support to French troops deployed in Mali and the Central African Republic under the Lancaster House Treaties of 2010.

However, other UK support has been provided to support both French and international military operations in Mali and the Central African Republic. I refer the hon. Member to the answers I gave on 18 November 2013, Hansard, columns 699-700W, to Hugh Bayley, on 16 December 2013, Hansard, column 476W, to Angus Robertson and on 6 January 2014, Hansard, column 14W, to Sir Edward Leigh.

The UK is also providing one staff officer in Greece to assist with operational planning for an EU Mission in the Central African Republic.
