To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will update the House on the proposed timescale for the release of funding for the 3Ts redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

An Outline Business Case for the redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital is currently being reviewed by the Government. Release of funding for the redevelopment will be dependent on approval of a subsequent Full Business Case (FBC), which will confirm the final construction costs and contract details. However, it is not yet possible to give an indication of when an FBC will be approved, and funding released.
