To ask the Secretary of State for Health what evidence has been submitted to the Chantler Review of standardised packaging of tobacco which is considered to be outside the remit of that Review; why each such submission is so considered; and whether he plans to publish such evidence.
The Chantler Review into the public health impact of standardised packaging of tobacco is due to report in March. The review is independent and it will be up to the review itself to set out the evidence submitted and how it has been considered. Sir Cyril Chantler has set out the way of working for the review, including how it proposed to seek further relevant evidence, in a method statement available at:
