To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities what proportion of staff recruited to the Government Equalities Office since 5 May 2010 identified their ethnicity as (a) white British and (b) from a minority ethnic background.

The information is not held. GEO employees joined the DCMS payroll on 1 June 2013. They were encouraged to declare their status from that date. Under the machinery of government change project, the project board agreed that no diversity and ethnicity data will be transferred from Home Office to DCMS.
