Public protection is at the heart of the Transforming Rehabilitation reforms. In order to assist with the risk assessment of offenders, we have developed a Risk of Serious Recidivism (RSR) predictor which uses the same analytical approach as our existing predictors OGRS and the OASys Violence Predictor (OVP).

This is an established methodology subject to quality assurance and peer review. The predictor has been thoroughly tested with a number of Trusts and has been shown to be a strong predictor of seriously reoffending.
