To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they expect to implement any revisions to the personal injury discount rate as a result of the research on that subject published in September 2013; and, if so, when.

The discount rate is currently under review, and no decision has yet been taken on what the rate should be or how it should be set. This is a very complex issue, and the review is being taken forward on as timely a basis as possible.
