To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what proportion of the office space owned or leased by his Department is not in regular use; what the total (a) rental and (b) retail value is of all such unused office space; and if he will place in the Library a copy of his most recent departmental real estate valuation.

All space in the Wales Office's London and Cardiff Offices is in regular use. The London Office is owned by the Department, and we lease accommodation in Cardiff. The Valuation Office Agency undertook a valuation of the London office (land and buildings) on 31 March 2013, and valued it at £3,800,000.
