To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will place in the Library a copy of the report entitled The medical implications of vehicle-mounted water cannon with special reference to the Ziegler Wasserwerfer 9000 (WaWe 9) system, published by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory in 2013.

The work referred to was conducted on behalf of the independent non-departmental public body SACMILL (The Scientific Advisory Committee on the Medical Implications of Less-Lethal Weapons) in order to inform a medical statement which will form part of the package of documents inviting the Secretary of State for the Home Department, my right hon. Friend Mrs May, to make a decision to authorise the use of water cannon by the police in England and Wales. A decision on its release is a matter for the Home Office.
