The coalition Government is due to report to the UN Committee responsible for the UN convention on the Rights of the Child shortly. The Department for Education is coordinating the response with contributions from other Government Departments, including the work that DEFRA has undertaken. Once the Government has submitted its response to the UN Committee, a copy will be placed in the House Library.
