Information prior to April 2012 is not held in the format requested.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence has published, 19 December 2013, Hansard, column 124WS, the trajectory of recruiting targets for the reserves that we will have to meet to deliver our commitment of 30,000 trained army reservists by 2018. This trajectory takes account of outflow. These out-turn figures will be published on a quarterly basis.
