To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what plans he has to increase the number of UK Trade & Investment staff in the West Midlands.
There are no plans to increase the number of staff directly employed by UK Trade & Investment in the west midlands. There are currently 39 international trade advisers in the region including three additional advisers appointed in 2012 and six additional advisers appointed in 2013.
