To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent discussions he has had with his EU counterparts on procedures for scrutinising and enforcing Colombian compliance with human rights clauses in the trade agreement between the EU and Colombia.

Although no specific conversations have taken place between my the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and EU counterparts on procedures for scrutinising and enforcing Colombian compliance with human rights clauses in the trade agreement, there are regular discussions between UK, EU and European Commission officials within a number of working groups on this subject.
