To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office what recent assessment he has made of the cyber threats posed to the UK.

Cyber attacks have been assessed as a Tier One threat to the UK's national security. The latest annual report on the Strategic Defence and Security Review and the National Security Strategy, which was published on 19 December 2013, provides the current assessment for the UK on cyber threats.
