To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how many of the companies struck from the Register of Companies in each of the years ending 31 March from 2007 to 2013 were removed as a result of action initiated by the Registrar of Companies; and if he will make a statement.

The number of companies struck from the Register of Companies in each of the years ending 31 March from 2007 to 2013 as a result of action initiated by the Registrar of Companies is as follows:
